IJM-Allianz Duo Highway Challenge Marathon (NPE) | Malaysia

Challenge Accepted and Conquered the IJM-Allianz Duo Highway Challenge Marathon on the 14th July 2019 at New Pantai Expressway (NPE) with more than 9,000 participants who took part in this wonderful early morning, Flag off for 10km and 21km.
The IJM Allianz Duo Highway Challenge has attracted international participants since it opened an international category last year. This year we are welcoming runners from countries such as Singapore, Kenya, Nigeria, Hong Kong, China, Japan, Korea, Australia, Brunei, Thailand and Sweden. Malaysia always welcome you guys, let have fun together!!
All the runners started to gather at the starting point as 4.30am near the iconic Sunway Pyramid for the first leg of this year's IJM Allianz Duo Highway Challenge. The flag off began at 5.30am for the 21KM and at 6.30am for the 10km run respectively.
The official flag off for 10km runners when the Clock Sharp pointed on 6.30am, Let's begin the race!!
From the starting point, we reached 3km check point that located at toll plaza PJS5.

If you Don't know and want to know , this is my the one and only signature post. at the same time. you won't get a good post at this location when there's car around and only car free for this morning. Either you trying to get a creative photo shot by lying or crawling on the road, It's up to you the road is yours by the way. wuahahaha!!

Just Kidding earlier, 10KM is nothing for me (sap sap water la). With a strong spirit brings me a medal, Doesn't matter how many KM do you Run, you will have the spirit with you to finish it!
After the Run, one of the most important things to do is Taking photo with friends and families. we all had a good run with the 100% car free on the highway and safety are important too. Thanks to all the organizer and sponsors to make this happen!

The IJM Allianz Duo Highway Challenge was held in partnership with IJM Corporation Berhad (IJM) and Allianz Malaysia Berhad as the title sponsors. There will be upcoming second leg held on 24th August 2019 which will be the first ever night run and relay run organized by the popular running series. The Besraya Highway Challenge is expected to attract 7,000 participants across there events which is a challenging 26KM run, 13KM run and 13KM relay run challenge.

Organized by Besraya (M) Sdn Bhd (Besraya) and New Pantai Expressway Sdn Bhd (NPE) under IJM's Toll Division and EC Pixels, the organizers took extra measures and precautions to ensure the safety of the runners by providing a fully closed highway and most importantly, making sure the participants have a great and memorable run.

Apart from the IJM Allianz Duo Highway Challenge, IJM Corporation Berhad also organized other events such as IJM Land Seremban 2 Half Marathon, Rimbayu Run and LEKAS Ride. I will see you at Besraya Highway run on 24, August 2019.
