Ricoh & Pentax Organized 1st Outing in 2015 and the venue was at FRIM (Forest Research Institute Malaysia) , Kepong


22nd march 2015 , Event Tittle was given as " Ricoh & Pentax
Go @ FRIM , Kepong . Meet up point was set at picnic area in FRIM 7.30 A.M  .

Smooth sunday morning without traffic jam and not much car on the road , it was my first time visit FRIM and i just realize there was a FRIM near Kepong . Because afraid of lack direction to FRIM , I need to wake up 1 hour early and get prepare .


Reach around FRIM at 7.10a.m and get a breakfast at kopitiam nearby the FRIM entrance . While sitting at the kopitiam , I saw alot bikers that ride mountain bike and joggers that gather here preparing going into FRIM . RM5 per car and RM1 person entrance fee will be collected at the FRIM main entrance . Ricoh & Pentax Organized bear our entrance fee and all others fee that been charge by FRIM . Charges From FRIM , Cars that driven In , Per Head charges , nature trekking Guide charges , DSLR camera charges .


Ricoh Pentax GO T-shirt , breakfast (nasi lemak & hot tea) , Lunch (Chicken Rice & ice cold lemon tea) , Mineral water , Experience and Skills been provided for free , Superb Awesome!!

Before the trekking shooting started , RICOH & PENTAX let us explore the all new Ricoh theta 360 degree panorama camera that not launching and selling yet in malaysia . guessing price that selling in malaysia could be around RM1299 .

We are allowed to touch at it , hold on it and even take photo with it , snap trigger from smartphone apps just one click or one click trigger at theta body . allows users to develop their own APPs and developing apps for RICOH THETA on iOS and Android platforms .



This our nature jungle trekking guide "SAMSUL" , he will lead us from starting point into jungle trekking then come back to the starting point , so we been divide to 2 group with 2 group leaders .
trekking will be start after SAMSUL briefing about the Rules & regulation when we are in the jungle .  














1st stop .
The waterfall , The end spot waterfall that located beside the picnic area .
For this shoot , Leader suggest us to shoot this view by using manual setting (ISO 100 - Shutter Speed -3" - Aparture 14" - Set Timing to 3 second to avoid our hand that shake , Tripod is a must)
then you will get the perfect shoot!!
An old lady lying on the rock relaxing while listening the water drop from the waterfall ....can say that she was a spoil for shoot but also can say that she was a object for us to shoot with .



2nd Stop .
Engkabang Trail , one of the trekking entrance in FRIM . 


Yellow mushroom that easy to spot while the ground was grey and the dead leave is brown , please don't ask me what the name of the mushroom , I really don't have idea . there are thousands kinds of mushroom in this world .


Another kind of mushroom , hard top in brown color.

There was a clue on this tree , something nature that showing direction if those trekker lost in the jungle at nowhere , it show same as compass do on the side that grows grass dirt is north where the sun rises...
