ARA Goes For Gold This Chinese New Year Four Shoppers Will Be Taking Home Gold Bars At Klang Parade
The stage is set at Klang Parade for the final leg of what is sizing up to be ARA Asset Management Limited’s (“ARA”) biggest Chinese New Year campaign in Malaysia. In true spirit of the Lunar New Year, ARA’s malls—Klang Parade, Ipoh Parade, 1 Mont Kiara, and CITTA Mall—have taken to spreading good fortune through its “Golden Prosperity” campaign by giving away over RM200,000 worth of prizes and redemption premiums to big spenders. The climax of the campaign will be its Final Challenge at Klang Parade on 17th February, where four winners will be rewarded with gold bars at the end of a series of challenges!
As the final destination for the campaign, Klang Parade spared no expense in decorating its Main Court, transforming the space into a regal platform that flourishes in red and dazzles in gold. Circular motifs feature heavily in the design, such as the arches flanking the stage and the gold coins at its base; all of which are an extension of ARA’s hope that shoppers would leave feeling fulfilled and prosperous.
The “Golden Prosperity” campaign commences on 19 January and will last until 9 February. During this period, top spenders will be selected each week to compete at a “Supermarket Rush” on 10 February, and winners will move on to compete as a finalist at the Final Challenge at Klang Parade. Four gold bars are up for grabs, but only one of these is the coveted 100gm gold bar. Additionally, Boost, the official e-wallet for the campaign, will extend RM1,500 worth of credits to each of the 12 finalists at the grand finale.

“All of the malls have adopted distinct identities with their designs for Chinese New Year, though they are all united under the ‘Golden Prosperity’ banner,” added Yong Shi Min, Senior Executive for Advertising & Promotions, Klang Parade. “For Klang Parade, we’ve decided to deviate from the usual traditional elements, and to adopt a more modern and grander stage design having been inspired by sets like the ones used for China’s Spring Festival programme.”
